There's open source help out there just need to look for ratings to make sure it's legit. When you decrypt a file, it will have it’s date and time restored, since then the file is back to it’s original form and then it makes sense to restore the date and time as well the file name etc. It should have the date and time of the transformation. Search for free software to find deleted metadata and/or deleted photo files. When you encrypt a file, it is transformed into something else. Sorry if you already wrote this, what kind of computer were you using? Mac or Windows? Laptop or desktop? Or tablet, chrome, etc.? I know you're looking for your correct dates but, to find them you need to find the files first and I'm betting they are still on your computer unless as per above. Sorry, not nearly as familiar with Windows as with Macs. I think Windows search for all of computer can be found in your main panel or control panel. My Mac's search is called "spotlight" and it searches my entire computer. If you have the original file names, search that file name exactly like it appears into your main computer's search area. ![]() There are several types of software out there to restore deleted files and metadata ,but still, it sounds like you didn't delete anything rather just copied to Google photos. If those pix are very important to you, you might have a hardware guru find them still on your computer with correct dates UNLESS they were stripped of data through two deletes, both image and metadata then emptied trash(Mac) recycle bin(windows). (all the files that were added in the backup show the last date of the backup. It restores the original file date not the backup date. Anytime I've EVER clicked n dragged, my original folder was still on my computer. I was able to restore the file from the back-up disk to the desktop. Launch the GoodSync software on your PC, and add the phone’s photo directories. ![]() Launch the FTP server on your Android phone. It saved my skin several times when there were hardware or system problems. Download an FTP server onto your Android phone ( such as with FTP Server app). When I worked, I backed up at noon and at the end of the day. For the filenames PhotoSync uses the date from the iOS Photo Library.
